Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib takes due care of the students aspiring to join #Indian #Armed #Forces. Students have always been encouraged and educated about the various existing entry schemes into the #defence #services. #Training & #Placement department organized an exclusive session for pre-final and final year students of all B.Tech branches on 13th September 2018, wherein college principal Maj Gen (Retd.) Dr G. S. Lamba (VSM) interacted with more than 100 students and enlightened them about the University Entry Schemes of Indian #Army, Indian #Navy & Indian Air Force. The exhaustive session was very informative for the students where they got to know about the history of UES, eligibility criteria for UES, various officers like qualities required for cracking the SSB, Selection procedure which includes personal Interview rounds by the selection board at respective college/University, and various processes undertaken at SSB for clearing the exam. Students felt overwhelmed by the in-depth knowledge they acquired through this session and were enthusiastically registered for further information and preparatory workshops in future for the same.
